It was developed especially for you, who know very well that time and practicality are essential in everyday's studio work routine.
The SmartWall takes up little space in the studio and fits very well for multiple functions: it can be a diffuser, background stretcher and background support in one product! Finished using? Just turn the feet support and hang it on a wall, behind a curtain, etc.
Diffuser
The SmartWall can play the role of a large-scale (included) diffuser, modifying the light and making it smooth across the entire area of your scene. It's one of the few full-scale diffusers on the market, and it does a great job.
Just raise the stretch frame, secure it with the velcro on the sides, stretch the diffuser on the main frame with the velcros and position the SmartWall in front of your light source.
Background Stretcher
The SmartWall has two frames, one being the main and the secondary one for the stretcher function. To use it as a stretcher, release the Velcro fastenings on the sides and lower the stretcher frame to the floor. You can use the triggers on the sides of the main frame and the stretch frame to shrink the frame if you prefer.
Now, just distribute the background (not included) across the structure, using fasteners to stretch the photographic background.
Background Support
The SmartWall can also be used as an adjustable background support, which is also very useful in the filming area. We have a line of backgrounds for the SmartWall, but you can use any photographic background you want, just use clips to stretch them.
Settings
1. Quickly adjust the height of the main frame and tensioner frame through triggers.
2. Frame opens and closes tensioner.
3. Retractable feet (swivel 180o).
Place it to the wall
Having an all-in-one product is great, even more so when at the end of the day it no longer takes up space in your studio! The SmartWall was developed with retractable feet, which you can pick up and attach to the wall using the clamp system that we ship with the product. Simply collect and secure the main frame and the turnbuckle with the velcro rings, turn the feet support and fit into the clamps previously screwed to the wall.
Creative Usage
1. Think about it: you have two types of photograph sessions in one day. How about making use of mobility and attaching a different background to the SmartWall (one on each side)? When you need, just turn it from side to side and change the background!
2. Close the SmartWall with the background stretched: a super useful tip if you have to use your studio space after that session where you used the SmartWall as a stretcher. Simply close the SmartWall with the bottom attached, place it on the wall, and when you use it again, just open it with the bottom ready! Cool, huh?
3. Diffuser in front of the window. If you have that perfect window in your studio, but at a certain time of day the light hits directly, you can use the SmartWall as a super diffuser (included) to break up the sunlight itself, and turn it into a beautiful soft light.
4. Feet that rotate 180o. Take advantage of this SmartWall feature to rotate the feet 45o when shooting – the little feet will not show up in your photo.
